TCP View

TCP View is one of my “must have” utilities. I use this quite often to watch connections or for troubleshooting. Everyone should have this on their computer. It is one of the best security tools you can use. TCP View will instantly show you who is connected to you and who you are connected to. If you see something unusual in the list, you should check into it. I would recommend for most usage to uncheck the “show unconnected endpoints” for any troubleshooting purposes. This will then show only the current connections happening, you can watch them connect and disconnect as they happen.
